Well thanks to a lot of people on this forum I finally got my J325 mill up and running. Thanks for all your help. When I turn my machine on I notice a very high pitched noise coming from the machine. I cant narrow down exactly where it is coming from but I did notice when I move the axis's it gets a little louder. It is very high pitched... enough that I where ear protection. Any ideas. Parts and smarts said it might be coming from the servo motors. Thanks |

| Either servo motors or servo drive cards in the cabinet. Power down, pull the brushes out of the motors and blow them out with air. A fog of black crap will fly, so don't put your face in the way. Report back. You may need to tune the servos. |
