    Angry VMC840 Axes index not working

    We have a problem with our VMC840. when we tru to zero reference the fault comes up A servo no responding. we don have the A axis hooked up. when we reset and try again the tool carousel just spins and throws a fault carriage #1 not indexed. New to this forum and the machine as well. can use any suggestions possible!!!!

    As far as the magazine, it spins and looks for the prox switch on the magazine, then finds a marker etc.. so you need to clean/inspect the zero return prox switch. As far as the A axis, you never specified what control.

    Thanks for the feedback, underthetire.
    i replaced the prox switch but getting same results. We have the Dynapath Delta control. The wiring diagrams were destroyed by a fire, so I have nothing to go by. the A axis is not hooked up as well. any other suggestions?
