The company's Version 19 software allows the user to design in solids as well as to import solid and surface-type files for generating accurate toolpath and G-code programs for CNC machining. Even though this software is a solids-based CAD-CAM system for working with STEP and IGES solids and surfaces, the company says it is also a complete 2D CAD/CAM system providing functionality from hole drilling and profiling to engraving. Features include offsetting solids and surfaces for machining; fillet surface creation; solid text creation; edge geometry extraction from solids and surfaces for boundary and pocket milling; and plunge roughing toolpath capabilities.
