| Would this be a good show to attend to view different manfacturers CNC machines up close and personal? |

| I've never had a chance to go, but it's THE show to attend if you're interested in high end industrial woodworking machines. It's a big show, but I don't know what you're looking for, and if they'll be there. If you're interested in particular machines, call the manufacturers and see if they'll be there.

| YES...by all means, it is THE SHOW to attend. I went to 4 days of it in '06 and don't think I saw the same thing twice. The show only happens every Two years, so this is your chance! Just about 9 months away! I also read it was the second largest trade show in the world. I guess since a lot of the technology bleeds over into many other areas of mfg not just Wood, Solid Surface, Plastics, Aerospace, etc. The sound of all the machines running at once when you walk in the showroom(s) makes the hair on your arms stand up. There are MANY machines to see! Just about everybody who's anybody is there if their product could have any relation at all to the wood industry. More CNC Routers and Equip than you can shake a stick at!! I've already made plans to attend. Make sure to check out the exhibitors list on their website when ever its posted, it will help you decide what you need to see the MOST if you decide to go. Its almost impossible to see everything in several days. Nardis |
