Westec Show in Cali

i will attend the show 3 out of the 4 days. i will be easy to find. i will probally be the only black guy there.

The company I work for is sending me to westec to look at software, but I have a question regarding what type of information I need to bring to the show.

I registered online and got my "show badge" in the mail, but it tells me to "Please bring this package to "badge holder Pick-Up" located in the south hall lobby, for quick and easy entry"

I checked the website but I can't find what type of information I need to bring with me.

I have to travel a long distance south and don't have much time down there so I need to be as prepared as possible.

Anybody know information or credentials I need to bring with me?

last year I also applied online and they just send me a badge with my name and company and basically that was my pass to get inside there are people at the door making sure you have a badge to get inside I dont know why it is not like your going to steal one of those big a?? machines. if you have a badge allready I dont see why you would have to take that package somewhere else unless it is differnt this year bassically your bage is you ticket to get in. have fun

hello clint so. don't worry about it. just show up. they will have about 20 people just waiting to give you your badge. you are already preregistered? not a problem. they are really organized. have fun. look for me. i will be the only balck guy.

Westec was amazing, I learned a great deal of good information going there.

I love how some of the CAM systems are starting to incorporate feature based machining.

Anyone else see anything that caught their eye?

The 5 axis Fidia mill was pretty awesome.

Same with the Greenleaf cutters demos.
