I would start with CNC4pc.com Arturo can probably help you out. The C3 indexer can be adapted to fit the input on the front of the Tormach. That's about as far as I can take you.
We recently purchased a pcnc and are loving it! Unfortunately, we have a very limited budget and cannot afford the duality lathe. I was wondering if anyone has tried putting a regular bench-top lathe on the bed of their tormach. We actually already own a bench-top lathe that looks exactly the same as the duality lathe except there isn't a sensor for the rotation speed. I guess we would be fine to start out with out needing the sensor, but it would be cool to cut threads and stuff, which would need the sensor. Has anyone figured out how to make their own and has anyone been successful using a non-duality lathe on their tormach?
Thanks

I put the job in the chuck.
Mount some tool holders and drills sticking up off the table.
Great CNC latch for small parts, as long as you don't need a live center.
Y axis makes tool height adjustment trivial.
For threads I hold the job in a chuck/4th axis on the table and threadmill.
Threadmilling does not require any sync signal.
Use a bit of imagination.
With my rotating head I can actually put the spindle horizontal so it looks like a lathe.![]()
