Hi folks,
New to the group and very interested in the Tormach machine. Due to an upcoming move and all connected uncertainty, I had to sell my CNC bed mill and CNC teaching lathe. Since I do lots of medical part prototypes and short run production parts, I'm quite sure that I'll be able to find a way to accomplish as much in a smaller space in our new location. With that in mind, from what I'm seeing regarding the Tormach, it looks like the perfect solution to my needs.

I also do some other odd jobs, only rarely cutting anything that would be too large for the work envelope of the 1100. Lots of aluminum and titanium, plus plastic from time to time are my primary materials. Mixed in with the medical parts are some motorcycle parts, just to make sure it stays fun.

I really need a lathe as well and can't wait to see what develops on that front.
