    Trimsol

I am running trimsol coolant (8-9% brix) on a recommendation from a friend. Noticing slight table streaking and discoloration on my mill
Table. Maybe I need to get over shiny new mill syndrome. It isn't rust but just appears slightly discolored.

Any comments or ideas on this? Or should I just use the mill and not worry.

    Thanks
    Steve

Sounds like a chemical reaction, could be so many things... what kind of water did you mix with ? Did you use any kind of rust preventive spray on the table ?

I can't put my finger on it but I think the way oil Tormach uses attacks the paint after time or the combo of both... IDK That's about the only problem I've experienced with my machine & way oil/coolant. I think you're ok but it wouldn't hurt to call the coolant company.

Distiller water. It's perfectly flat just looks a bit streaky. Do others get some discoloration on their tables over time?

    Thanks
