770 Jog Pendant problem

I just recently started having problems with the jog pendant on my 770. The outer wheel works fine, but when I go to use the step wheel it stops all response from the pendant, and I have to reset Mach 3 to get the outer ring working again. If I shut down Mach 3 and restart it, the pendant then works fine with both rings.

The problem is that it's not all the time. I have the pendant connected directly to the motherboard like the manual suggests (page 5-16), and it does it on either of the step settings.

Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance for any help you can pass along.

Hi,
I had the same issue and remember reading that it is a common issue with mach 3. I think if you press "stop" when the shuttle is blocked it should fix it.
