If you have a spare USB port you probably can use a wireless mouse. Not familiar with your setup, but that would be the only requirement.

I use both a wireless mouse and keyboard, both Logitech brand name, for over 2 years now. Both work flawless-lea.

I have used one and never had a problem, but I know it is not recommended.

If you have a lot of other wireless devices in the house check the freq of the devices. I lived in an apartment and had trouble with my wireless keyboard and mouse I used for my home theater system. Turned out after getting some sniffers out (friends with the equipment) seems every neighbor in my apartment had some device that was on my frequency.

I know only buy bluetooth devices. Doesn't matter how may you have, it will find only your signal. But bluetooth may not work in a CNC application if it steals processor ticks.
