    Flash screens on PNC1100

I have been, happily using the Flash screen drivers with my PNC1100 with the 24" monitor I purchased to run the machine. Eight months, happily using the Flash screens for general milling. I recently purchased a touch probe and now my Flash screens are broken. Many of the probe functions don't work and when I go back to the simple machining view, my tool paths have become miniscule. I was told by the Tormach Tech support that the Flash screens were in Beta and quite buggy. I guess I can't disagree. Anyone else in the same boat or is everyone happy with the plain screens?

Yes, the plain display screens seem to work OK, if you call a box that only covers 50% of my display OK.

I would like other people to speak up so "we" might get some focus on fixing the Flash screens so they work.

I had asked about this when I first purchased the machine. The flash screens would never render the toolpaths, the rotation button are reversed, and a few others. Tormach told me that the Flash support is being discontinued by the folks that make Mach 3.

Tormach had put a great deal of effort into the Flash screens and were a little torqued that it was being removed.

    That is what I know.

I doubt that they'd actually remove Flash capability from the current 3.xxx versions of Mach3. Perhaps they're referring to the long awaited next version. The next version is support multiple types of interfaces, whenever it gets released.

I think that the biggest issue with Flash screens is that they've never actually been "supported".
The only documentation was a sample screen that you could use to reverse engineer your own screen. And only two people on the forum capable of helping, but they'd rather sell you a set of Flash "components" than show you how to make your own. Two years ago someone was hired to write some documentation, but it never materialized.
It's a bit sad, as amazing things are achievable with Flash screens, if your a Flash expert.
I started working on a Flash screen, but couldn't get any info on making toolpath and g-code windows. The default ones sucked, so I abandoned the project.
