MPG for a Tormach

Hello , I have been looking a purchasing a PCNC1100 and was wondering if there was any MPG out there for MACH3 that would work with the Tormach mill. I ran across vistaCNC that sell a MPG for MACH3. My question is will this work with MACH3 and a Tormach PCNC 1100 with a Tormach machine controller ?

Yea I looked at the shuttle jog. But I have ran a HAAS for the last 5 years at work and I am so used to the MPG just wanted to see if there was on one out there for a Tormach and Mach3.

I'm interested in the VistaCNC pendant for the same reason you are. I run Haas's at work and want a familiar interface.

The Tormach machine controller is a regular PC with some tweaks to the hardware and OS. The major changes are in Mach. It's reconfigured and the config file is locked so no changes can be made.

The pendant should work fine, but you'd need to configure Mach to talk to it. That means either doing a fresh Mach3 install and configuration, or signing Tormach's waiver so that they will send you their unlocked config file.

Either way, I see no reason why it won't work.

I like this with the pendant but out of the budget for now.

It's reconfigured and the config file is locked so no changes can be made.

Tormach will give you the password to unlock the Mach3 configuration if you make an official request. Unlocking Mach3 might invalidate the warranty, though, so be forewarned of that possibility.
