    6" Rotary

I just got my machine in and everything installed. I noticed my rotary came without a plug in the motor casing. I am sure they do not come that way as I can see all kinds of material getting in there, so will need to order or replace that. I also had trouble getting the rotary to rotate.

It turns out when I lock the cam and lock the eccentric lever I have to push it all the way up against the rotary and even then it's not locking as sometimes the rotary still will not move.

Is there any way to adjust the eccentric lever where it will lock down sooner? I am afraid if left like this, in reverse directions the lever could actually get caught in one of the slots for the jaws.

I will be contacting Tormach before I do to much, but if I can adjust the lever as opposed to trying to return it (cost) would be better.

    Hi,
from what i understand, you need that plug. I would think tormach would send you one if the one you got was missing. As for the lock, i needed to readjust mine too. just take off the top screw and adjust it to tighten before it hits the housing.

    good luck.

Got the level tight now, had to reposition it further that I thought but no risk of getting caught as the table spins. Yea, I have an email going to Ann tonight as well as an order for more parts

Interesting the tailstock and rotary both did not come with 5/8 t-clamp hardware, mine were smaller. So no way to mount up and try until I get a set of mounting hardware in
