implementing softlimits on 1100

I read all that I can but I keep coming up with this error.

When I press the "softlimits" button I've added to the interface I get this message if I am on the home switches of inside the machining envelope,
"Machine out of limits for softlimits activation"

The buttons call function is correct and matches the native Mach3 software.

According to artsoft all the settings are correct. Has anyone had success
implementing softlimits on the 1100?

I have soft limits enabled and have not seen that error message. The button that I added to the screen triggers OEM-code 119. The LED indicator monitors OEM-code 23.

My button has the same codes. Care to share your home/softlimits setup in Mach? these are mine at the moment.
tired of bumping the switches and losing reference.

Mine are similar, except for the Y axis:

Y axis
Soft Max = 0
Soft Min = -9.2

When the machine is referenced, the Y and Z axis both Home to their max values, so their min values are negative. The X axis Homes to its min value, so its max value is positive.
