Ooops there's a reference to Smithy 1240 cnc and Industrial hobbies in the "Tormach vs others" thread. Dang somebody's for it, they must have missed that one. Get out the airbrush again. Phil ![]() PS: If it doesn't kill you it can only make you stronger. |

| Going back a few years to the " good ol' days" when money was flowing freely, there were no posts that disappeared. However, recently a number of have been quashed by this forum or moved without notice to some black hole. Remember the guy who was going to sue because his machine didn't work and his duality lathe was paid for but never delivered? That whole discussion got the Rosemary Woods treatment and the promised update from the moderator is somewhere in a warehouse at area 51. Other machine forums usually get the lockdown treatment if the language gets out of control, but they remain there for people to read. |

| Same thing happened last week in the "ATC about to be released" thread. About a half-dozen posts disappeared overnight. Sheesh. Conservative --- Conservator Moderate --- Moderator Liberal --- Liberator Maybe the Moderator is leaning a little too far left, because he's liberating threads from the forum... Perhaps we should all just post over in the "Global Warming" thread. Our comments could get lost in the crowd. - Just Gary |

| Ah, I was wondering about that sort of thing last week, when I saw 5 or 6 posts, between a member and someone selling a product on here, vanish from a thread with no further comment about it. I guess I wasn't just imagining it. |
