Very cool Jeff. Can you post more details about pneumatic collect closer and bar puller you are running? I need to get pneumatic closer on my Slant Pro, its killing me now when I have to make 100s of parts...

    About my collet closer

    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/tormac...loser-way.html

I use a pneumatic parallel gripper bought on EBay, you can find some for very cheap sometime.

Sommer GP408N-C Parallel Gripper, 8mm Stroke per Jaw | eBay

I have one similar to this one and machined some fingers to match stock diameter.

Wanted to buy this bar puller (gripprall), but since I live in Canada, it would have cost me around $1000.00 CAN, which is crazy.!!!!!!

The boring bar holder, I made these and drilled and bore them directly on the lathe so I do not need shims and. I have jobs that repeat. I have spare non machined holder that I machine when I have new job so I don't have to remove boring bars, only the tool holder, much faster to setup a job.

Will try to take some more pictures if you are interested.

    Jeff
