Default Trying my first boring bar cut, question on path pilot setup

I am trying my first boring bar cut and ran into some confusion on my part.

I have the boring bar setup to cut on the positive side. (Picture 1).

I chose the picture on the tool setup screen that looks a lot like the boring bar. (Picture 2) and put in the positive offsets

I try an use it in a conversational mode and I get no way, must be negative (picture 3), but when I put in negative offsets and diameters it doesn't want to cut in the right place.

Choose OD turning instead of ID.

If you choose ID turning with this boring bar, it will ask for Negative value, I think.
