As CadRhino has pointed out this tilt is sort of a 4 1/2 axis. I had my Fusion360 and Catia v5 post altered to pause and notify of a tilt angle change. I would think at the very least Sprutcam would do a machine pause. But I'm not familiar with Sprutcam at all.

Understand a method to find the offset on machine
Now if only I could figure out how to tell Sprutcam where that is exactly .

I had a part I was working on with my 4th axis and decided to take a quick review of this.
It appears in Sprutcam the tilted axis is part of the machine definition and Sprutcam should generate code based on this device and its origin setting.

I set the machine and Workpiece CS as shown to a default machine Global cs

Then setup operations for that axis.

I then rotated axis 45 deg and setup another couple operations.

Sprutcam 11 and tilted rotary table-4thaxist4-jpg

I then rotated axis to 90 deg and setup another couple operations.

Sprutcam 11 and tilted rotary table-4thaxist5-jpg

Operations simulate correctly and it appears to generate code correctly.

Looks straight forward if this is correct. Kind of like fixed indexing only you have another direction to work with.
    Hope this helps

Note: your not going to be using any jobber length drill bits or any long tool way up there

Thanks for posting this Lane. I’m going to look at it closer.

Thanks mountaindew. So the trick is to reference the origin with the table tilted horizontally and not vertically like the way I did?

Attached is the part I was trying to make in step format for non Sprutcam users in case it helps.
