Default Problem when posting to Slant Pro

Okay, doing a simple turn operation (angle turning) on a 2.5" hexbar and am getting a weird anomaly when I post this out using the Tormach Slant Pro post file for Fusion 360.

Below is the screenshot from Fusion 360 and all looks good even in the simulation

Now this is a shot from the PathPilot screen - you can see the funky "loop" it makes.

I've also attached the G Code.

Interesting.... I just changed it to a rear mounted tool post and it works. Unfortunately for me... I need to run it as the front mounted tool post. So I'm guessing this has something to do with the QCTP settings...

I knew about this bug but just got bitten! I dug into this to find out what the problem is and its not problem in Tormach Slant post processor its a bug in Fustio 360. It does not correctly outputs the G2/G3 when QCTP=true, i.e. cutting on negative X. Short of manually finding these problems and replacing G2 with G3 and vise versa where needed I have not found a solution. So workaround is to look at the g-code using https://ncviewer.com/ and find any circles and then flip that line of code from G2 to G3 or from G3 to G2 depending on what you find...

Thanks for the insight on this one. Took me a minute (well, okay, more than a minute) that when you edit the G2/G3 that you have to clear it and replot for it to show up. Really hoping that Fusion can get this fixed since I'm running a front and rear tool post (heavy duty on the front and light duty on the rear - tools from my rapid turn). Seems like this would be somewhere in the post file.

I have reported it to Fusion team and hope we will get resolution soon. Its not something that can be fixed with post file (I would have fixed it if it was). This bug comes from inside of the Fusion.

Yep, kind of has me nervous of "what else can go wrong" bugs since I'm new to the Slant Pro. Thanks for the NC Viewer link. Loving that for checking without having to go back and forth to PathPilot.

And lathe crashes tend to be a lot more dramatic than mill crashes.

Thanks for the info. I'll add that into my addon's!

Interesting that NCViewer does not show G55, G56 locations.... I just stacks them on top of eachother.
