Default My PCNC 1100 Does not like to move.

Moved my PCNC 1100 for the second time and have nothing but problems once again.

First off i started her up and got two red lights, one on the z axis, one on the x axis, Y is green still so is the fuses. ( no blown fuses)

Spindle wont move either.. Dont know really where to start now.

    thanks,
    Brad

Brad what series is your mill? My series 3 has 3 stepper drives one for each axis. I only see one on yours.
Not saying your other drives fell out in the move butMy PCNC 1100 Does not like to move.
Maybe the older ones used all axes in one type drive.
To me the likely suspect is loose wire assuming all the fuses check good. I'd go one by one and check tightness.

    Hi Paul-JB

Mine is a PCNC 1100 is a series 1. I had to upgrade one of the drivers because she blew when i set her up the first time.

I have checked every single wire. I dont know what im missing. Hopefully nothing serious.

    thanks,
    brad

I had the main fuse/breaker pop once and I had the same symptoms. put in new ones and everything worked just fine after that. maybe u pinched the main power cord? if all u did was move it nothing should have changed to where now it doesn't work.

    good luck

    Carlos

If you are running this on a 220 breaker, make sure you are getting the power you need from each leg.
I had a breaker only deliver partial power to one side before.
Not sure what was wrong with it. It was a really old one though.
