pathpilot will not boot

We just purchased tormach 440 and tried to install the wireless network adapter tormach sent. We did the ADMIN NETWORK and setup device then powered down as per instructions. Now the system will not boot and all we get is a login page. I need help plase if anyone can assist I am here all night.

Log in with user "operator" and password "operator". After you reach the desktop you should be able to run pathpilot.

Did not work. I was told that if the login screen come up then something went wrong. I follow the wifi adapter instruction is there any way to get back to the admin network screen without pathpilot?
