    Default Pathpilot error message

When Pathpilot loads it says that the software has experienced an error and to install an update.

I tried the 1.9.12 update again and it didnt work.
I then reloaded 1.9.11 and it works fine.

I am wondering if this is a situation where the old files have to be deleted before it will install the new ones?? I have had this happen with windows software in the past.

I know just enough about Pathpilot programming to be dangerous, in other words I dont know what I am doing............!

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it very much............

I cant tell you much except I've installed 1.9.12 a few times without issue. No need to delete files. PP creates new folders for every version. Have you tried re-downloading 1.9.12? Perhaps your install files are corrupt.

I brought up the desktop, clicked operator, this brings up all the updates and other files and deleted v1.9.12, shut down the computer, rebooted then installed the v1.9.12 update and it worked.
I think I corrupted the tormach_1100-3.ini file was the original problem.

Linux just isnt easy for me to navigate in and I have to modify the tormach_1100-3.ini file to put the bbacklash figures in for the xyz axes as each update erases them.

    thanks for your input..
