1.9.12 Version Z limit problem

I installed the 1.9.12 version of PP and had the Z limit sw lock up the program, usually a reset will let me move off the limit, in this case it wouldnt and I had to remove the limit sw to get the axis to move.

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem or if I just did something stupid??

I had this happen once after a drilling cycle (I was running PP 1.9.11). I programmed the RPM way too slow (steel instead of aluminum) and lost some z steps. When the drill cycle was done, the machine tried to overshoot the retract and tripped the switch.

Anyhow next time go into settings to disable the limit switches. Move off the switch, then re-enable them. Re-home and you should be good to go.

I saw that on the settings page I believe, never dawned on me to try that??

I have never had any problem before, just hit reset and the table will move off the limit, this time it didnt for whatever reason with the new update, all is good now thanks..................

I've had it happen from time to time with every version I've run. Its just that once it was real bad and couldnt fix it via a reset. Anyhow, it should save you some time.
