    Default Set Offsets while paused?

I have a stop in a program to flip part to a different work holding setup which uses G55 instead of G54 as in the first part of the program. While the program is paused, can I set the G55 coordinates? Of should that be beforehand, or should it be two programs?

I'm not sure if you can set G55 in the middle, but my question is why would you want to? I would set my 54 and 55 before launching the program so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Maybe I'm missing the point of what you're trying to do, but it seems like more work to remeasure in the middle of a program than to measure everything at the same time.

I guess I'm thinking that I might have to touch off a feature that may not be cut at the beginning. I suppose if that were the case it might be best to be a separate program.

Can you use a workstop, or set up an additional one? They make some that move out of the way and repeat well

Unfortunately PP doesn't let you do that (Mach 3 did). You just have to break up your g-code into different files, one for each side.

Thanks for the tips. The options are to set all offsets beforehand, and some kind of workstop or softjaw would help, or to use different programs.

    Thanks,
