    might be buying a TM

    i maybe buying a Torchmate off CL it's the 4x4 and its 4 yrs old i want to know whats different from the TM 4 yrs ago and the ones now i know probably the software is a little different but is anything else different thanks

    Don't have a TM so I don't really keep up with them. I don't think to much has changed. If you can get serial #s from it I'd place a call to TM & see if you get tech support or if that ends with original owner. etc.

    Mike from TM posts here once in a while I don't know if he checks daily or not.
    If it works.....Don't fix it!

    4 years old is probably a serial port RS-232 communcation style, but other than that nothing as really changed. It may have 151 oz in motors instead of 264's, but they function normally with the 151's.
