Sorry for the dumb question but I'm just getting started. I've got a TM 2.0.9 and I found out how to import the dxf file but I can't find how to put a lead in and out move in. Could someone point me in the right direction![]()
Poor planning on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on my part.
Torchmate 2.0.9 is a version of the Drivers Software that actually operates the machine. It does not contain any tool-pathing abilities other then a cutter compensation available in the G-Code.
All of our machines come with Torchmate CAD which is also a CAM software that allows you to create what we call Tool-Paths in order to get your cutter compensation, cut order (inside before outside) and Lead-Ins. If you purchased the machine from us and have an Original Dongle from the CAD software we can either send you a replacement installation CD or download link. If you did not get CAD or some kind of USB/25pin parallel port dongle with the machine, you may want to start looking into options for creating tool-paths.
