Question for Mike @ Torchmate or Anyone

Is there a way to either download or purchase table schematics/blueprints for your #1 or #2 model tables without purchasing a complete DIY system. I'm into the first phase of trying to make decisions and am leaning heavy towards one of the two models listed by Torchmate. From the looks of the threads/pictures on this site and your homepage, tables are made from various sizes and components depending on what table you get.
Any info would be very helpful.

Since no one else has answered your question I'll try & give you a bit of feedback. There is a pretty detailed build log of a TM1 here on the zone. Posted by "blackhollowmfg": My Torchmate 1 build log

The TM1 kit you get software, electronics, motors, racks, pinions, cam follower bearings, brackets etc. & plans + you can add other features THC etc. You have to source & build pretty much everything else.

TM2 the gantry is pre built & uses precision linear rail to carry & support your torch. Then you get software, electronics, motors, racks, pinions, cam follower bearings, brackets etc. & plans + you can add other features THC etc. you can choose to buy a table or source & build your own.


I really don't think they will sell you just the plans. For that matter even let you look at a set. I probably wouldn't either If I sold tables.

I'm sure they will gladly speak with you over the phone & do their best to explain each of their kits to you.

I recomend you read blackhollow's build log in its entirety. That alone should clue you in very well on the build of a TM 1
