    Torchmate 3 USB problems. Help???

We have a Torchmate 3 that worked fine for many months then the USB connection stopped communicating. Torchmate could not figure out the problem so we were forced to buy another box. Once we got the new box it worked for 4 days and again the USB is not communicating. Has anyone had a similar problem?

We are in desperate need of repairing this problem as we cannot complete production of our eye testing machines without it!

    Thanks

When you are referring to the 'box' you are referring to the signal generator itself? It sounds to me that possibly the USB ports on the computer may be causing the sig gen to fail due to input voltage, or some kind of grounding issue. Have you tried this sig gen on another computer to ensure that the box is in fact damaged?

Also, have you sent us the old box yet for testing? We may be able to determine through examination of the old box what caused it to fail.
