I have a TM3 with a Hypertherm 1250. I am not able to afford the AVHC and machine torch at this time. What is the best way to set the heighth for the cut? I am having troubles with the metal warping and the torch hanging up even on 12 gauge steel. Do I just set it high and accept the rough cut and dross? Any help would be appreciated.
I met this case on 16 gauge steel in past year, finally bought AVHC from torchmate.
A you can increase cut feedrate and high current if you can accept rough cut quality and dross when cut simple part, for example circle, square and so on.
B If A is not solve problem and have to buy AVHC from torchmate.because steel curve during cutting process, torch don't fire and drag steel which cause unexpect damage for your equipment.
