    Smile Dropped the dollar

    Hi All,
I just ordered the Torchmate 3 gantry kit. I also ordered the Router board to be installed. I will have the money to order the torch height controller by the time I have the table built. I will be asking a lot of questions here because I have no cnc experience.
    Mike

    What width and length?
What kind of work are you thinking on doing?
    Business or personal endeavor?

    Mike,

Feel free to call me if you get stuck. You can find my number on my website. I'm pretty good with that machine.

    Hi,
Sorry for not getting back sooner. My DSL was down for a couple of days.
I ordered the Torchmate 3 gantry kit. I am going to make a business of it along with my welding and fabrication shop. I will be adding the router setup , the digitizer setup and the oxy fuel setup in a couple of months. I ordered the router module to be added to my controller already on the initial purchase to avoid having to send in the controller later. I ordered the steel, ( WOW, What a shock over last year's prices ) , today for the table.
The only part that concerns me is my lack of knowledge about CAD and CNC. I guess I won't be the first to try to cut "Help and have it come out " how the heck did I get here".
