torchmate cad deleting image to leave path

Hi

When I delete the original image I get a message that it will lost the relationship. if I say OK then the cut path cannot be show again I think it has been deleted too. I have followed the instuction by turning off "show cut path" so only the original image shows but what ever I do it wont work.

I will let you know once have run a few jobs. t the moment program the plasma by hand.

As far as the first question....sorted it. The "link to original " check box was ticked.

8 X 4 table with water bed, made the lot myself with torchmate auto head adjuster, motors and racks, all the rest home grown.

Yes I did but I found the problem to be the group command was checked so when I deleted the original the whole thing was deleted as they were grouped.

In the Torchmate CAD Version 7, under the Options menu, select Torchmate Setup, and then select Tool Path Preferences. There is an option that says "Group Tool Paths with Originals" that is checked. If you un-check that, the toolpath and original will no longer get grouped together when you create the toolpath.
