    T.H.C. on torchmate/mach3

I have a torchmate 2 and the motor drives are burnt out, and I want to add a torch height control, does anyone know if a after market thc exists for this machine, they want $2500.00 for the thc, seems quite high to me, also interested in maybe switching the whole machine over to mach 3 since I will need to buy new dirve boards etc. any way I thought that I might convert this over to gecko drives and smooth steeper,
    thanks,cmg

If the THC system will accept a Normally open circuit from our Plasma Interface box, it will more then likely operate any standalone THC system.

Depending on what kind of computer user you are, you may not like the Mach3 software over the Torchmate Drivers software, IMO mach3 is a great software, but not as user friendly as the Torchmate software.

If both drive boards went out, I would expect there to be some problems with one or both of your motor cables, or the connections at the motor end of the cable. Almost all drives that go out are caused by a short or intermittent motor connection.
