Question TorchMate 3 Set up and Basic operation guide??

Hello,

First post but a long time reader.. We just got a Torchmate 3 and don't have any idea how to get it set up and running. Is there a guide somewhere online I can view??

The table is brand new but I'm not the first owner. The guy I bought it from was setting up a fab shop and closed it down before he ever used the table.. They only made about 30 test cuts with it trying to dial it in then not much later he closed.. Not sure if the warranty or tech surrpot is transferable or not..

I'm just hoping there is some type of guide on set and basic use of the machine.. I have read everything online I could find but can't seem to find any type of guides or videos on it..

I have a TD 101 plasma with it. Is there some type of guid for cut speeds and voltage depending on the steel thickness?

I may sound like a complete idiot and I'm sorry for that but after dropping 18K on this thing it needs to start making money!

Thank you very much for your help!

Did you receive the Drivers and Instructions disc from the previous owner? I'm sure we would be able to email anything you need as far as setup or operational instructions go. If you did not receive the Drivers and Instructions disc, you can probably get a replacement from the sales department.

The warranty and support transfers over to you, all you have to do is call and register the product with us (previous owners information, and your information) and then you can utilize Technical Support.

Thanks for the help.. I got the computer he had and it has the driver and cad software on it along with the little thing that plugs into the USB, some type of security device I'm assuming.... But he did not give me the actuall cds.. Mike do you have the instructions cd online somewhere I can down load.. Before I bother tech support I feel that its up to me to at least read the manual and try to figure it out before I wates thier time.

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks for the fast reply!

Mike can you email or point me to a link to down load the set up guide? I have the computer he was using with the machine but there was no CD's with it, everything was loaded on the machine, the driver and the cad.. It also has the USB fob thing in the back..

I hate to call tech support with a bunch of basic questions that would of been answered if I read the manual.. I just need the manual to read...

Who should I call to transfer the warranty?

Thanks.
Jason

The USB Security dongle is a key to use the CAD software, basically without that installed in the computer the CAD will not operate. You do not need it to operate the software.

I will PM you a link to a page that has some information on it, but I would need your email address to send something more specific to, feel free to PM it to me.

As far as getting the table transferred to your name, you can do it whenever by calling us here at the number and extension below. The support department is always here to help, no matter how small or 'stupid' you might feel the question to be.

Is there a manual for the torch control box? Something with basic settings?

Can I run the cad software on 2 different computers? I would like to keep it on the computer next to the machine then also on my office computer.
