| Venting? I am about to buy a small shop machine and am trying to put all the info together. Do I need to have an exhaust/vent system and if so what CFM should I be looking at. For my shop a down draft would be best, if that matters. Thanks in advance! Chris |

| venting Chris, Yes you will need to vent or else your shop will have a very nice coat of fine metal dust every where. Plus you will be breathing it in as well. Just remember to make up what ever air you pull out. I have a 1000 cfm fan on my table using a 14" duct to get it out. Since your just down the road from me..... I use a swamp cooler from about April - June to help make up air and cool down my shop but it is hard on equipment. I know of a guy in AJ who had his sitting outside for awhile... Fenced off and under a carport but the sun took its toll on it. sstec |
