I am looking to make a CNC plasma system. I have most of the parts around the shop. Looking to save space by using the gantry table for other things when not in use. I like the idea of the rack and pinion drive so I can remove it and use the table. Does anybody know the pitch and angle of the Torchmate II or III rack and pinion drive? I think pressure angle is 20 degrees. Anything would be of benfit: supplier, stock number even the number of teeth on the pinion gear. Or if someone has made something similar. Thank you. |
