| I am just getting my torchmate3 up and running. I didn't opt for the torch height control and am using the hand torch. I have discovered that keeping the torch at the correct height throughout the cutting of a 4X8 plate has become a task. I have had to put a m01 in several places in my programs to check the hieght. As a result the torch gets too close and eats up the tipsand consumables. These things seem to be made of gold...pricey. Should I just go ahead and get the height control and the "machine torch". It seems it would pay for itself in no time....Opinions welcome...Thanks Last edited by jb_swampfox; 07-03-2007 at 10:17 PM. Reason: spelling |
