We typically refer our customers to a website www.ironshadows.com for themed dxf files. Although with the Torchmate CAD just about any black and white images can be scanned into the cad, resized, and cut.

Thanks again, Mike. That's a good sight. Does the Torchmate software come with clip art, mainly western?

    Plasma Clip Art

Not much western stuff, but a good site I have found is http://www.plasmaspider.com

It's specific to plasma cutting and they have a clip art file sharing forum where you can download other members DXF files. You can also share your own files with others.

    Custom DXF files

    Balto,

I offer a custom DXF file design service that can help with converting any image you find into a clean cutting DXF file you can import directly into your CNC cutting systems software. www.customdxffiles.com
If you would like I can send you a free download of my Forest Images CNC DXF file art disk. (you can preview the images on my website) Thanks!

    Sincerely,
    Jason

    Thumbs up DXF Files

I have also found plasmaspider and downloaded some of the dxf files that people have uploaded and am happy so far with what I've found.
Last week I stumbled onto Gary's E-bay site here, http://www.signtorch.com/store/home.php
I called and talked with Gary for probably an hour, and then I downloaded some of his free samples and burned out the Steer head yesterday and was very pleased with how it came out. I only sized it to a 12" x 12" dimension and burned it out of 10 guage (apx 1/8" material, 40amps, 84 ipm, 75 psi. air.) for a trial and it burned out great, so I went ahead and ordered his Super Bundle. They said it shipped today so should get hear next week. Will be fun to have a few thousand images to play with I think.
The Eagle is from the free download that Jason emailed me last week from his website here. http://www.customdxffiles.com/ It also burned out very nicely.
I am really new to this art stuff but so far it looks like it's gona be a lot of fun.

    Adjust contrast ..

Open in MS PAINT, save it as 16 bit BMP and trace in
    this free software:

I see that people are replying to balto's request. The date of the request was in 2007
balto passed away in March 2008 from cancer. He was a good brother. Thanks to
everyone who help him with his plasma cutter project.
