    Thinking about buying a torchmate....

Hello all! I am really new to CNC Plasmas but really want one. I am debating about buying a torchmate instead of building my own since i don't really know how they work. Anyways i was looking at there website and i noticed that they have a few different setups. My father and I own our own HVAC shop and do alot of fabrication out of Stainless Steel. Also i have a big passion to build custom street rods and trucks. It would be nice to be able to make all the brackets all identical. I don't plan on cutting anything much more than 1/4. Maybe on occasion 3/8". What model do you think would be best for my situation? I would like to stay as cheap as possible. Thanks Josh

Don't worry TMT89512 (the Torchmate guy) will find you!

I cheap is your goal you better do more research and look at building your own table.

You can't go much serious cutting of thin material without a good THC (Torch Height Control)
