Cable carrier

Anyone found an INEXPENSIVE cable carrier? I let mine hang, but want something a little nicer and can't justify spending $200 plus on that.

Has anyone tried not using a tank tread design? What about leather with a spring-steel (steel banding) backbone?
Hmmmm. I know leather is used to protect mig and plasma cutter cables. If one were to put an expanded
steel screen along the back of the gantry then the leather could just rest on it. Perhaps a couple of
keepers to make sure it stays on the screen.

I found one for $45 on ebay and it worked out great. I had to make brackets for it.
I found another for $35, but it ended up being huge, like 6" wide. So I can't use it.
