I truly hope what I am observing here is a fact of my ignorance and not a "feature"of the system I just acquired. I have finally been able to put together my 2x2 Torchmate CNC plasma table and everything seems to be working except that as I try to cut my demo part, only the first hole cuts through. In other words, the solenoid engages the torch for the first closed curve and for all subsequent closed curves on the job, nada! The machine moves, but the torch is sleeping.
I am attaching the DXF I am trying to cut. I truly hope there is not this notion that only way to cut multiple holes into a part is with an AHC or I will feel utterly ripped! I am thinking there is one button I have not pressed. I am following a tutorial that I found on the web and I have not been able to determine what it is that I am doing wrong, so your help is most appreciated!
It was my own moronicity. It was a lack of proper grounding. A little troubleshooting here and there got me going. I still need to make the table fool proof as the problem is all over the place depending on where the torch lies.
