Hi All,
I am having a problem today with my TM3 4X8. I was trying to cut some large pieces. The table would traverse for a little ways diagonally as it should, then would stop going diagonally and just travel up the Y axis. I sounded a little strained. I checked all of the gears, collars and all of that. I am at a loss.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike Pennington

Hi All,
I just solved the problem with the diagonal moves. I took the gantry apart and cleaned everything. I reassembled as per the original instructions and realigned. It works great again.I still have a couple of noisy motors, so I will get a couple of new ones and keep these as spares. Maybe even have them rebuilt if I can find a place that does that.
Thanks for all of the help.

sounds like you need to check the squareness of your gantry to the table
