    WEEEEEEEE!

Buying a Torchmate2-4x4. I'm not quite sure what the longest distance ever traveled for a Craigslist posting is, but this one has got to be up there... Indiana to Texas! What a fun drive I have ahead of me... 42 hours in the car- one weekend- one 7-month pregnant wife going along with me.. Wish me luck!

Oh well, No Pain No Gain I guess. I've never traveled that distance for machinery but I have had machinery hauled to me from California to central WV. And anothe from SanAngelo Tx to WV.

    Here's wishing you luck
    If it works.....Don't fix it!

This is my first machine so I am excited. Like you said "no pain, no gain," sucky drive but I have already quoted 2 jobs in the past 24 hrs and I don't even have the machine yet! Hope the "gain" works out like I plan! Thanks for the luck wishes!

The machine will be more fun

The machine will be way more fun than driving that distance with a heavily pregnant wife. Be ready for TBS (Tiny Bladder Syndrome) to slow the trip some. But hey, if momma is along for this ride she is probably along for the bigger ride too. The TM is a blast, I have the 4x4 and use it to make parts and do some art too. They have the best support out there, so if you need some help Mike or just about anybody here will hook you up quick, fast and in a hurry. If the machine doesnt have torch height control, that should be the first thing on your "must do" list otherwise "burn on". My wife is on the big ride since she does art too and that makes it a ton of fun. I have a helper and a playmate available just about anytime I go in the shop. Course sometimes I just want to hide, so I just go to the tool store and I get my "fix" of solitude when I need it. Have fun and welcome!!!!!
