    Swisher Grinder

I had seen advertised these "swisher" type grinders that grind like a blanchard grinder, only the magnetic chuck does not move, the grinding head swivels back and forth over the chuck. Anyone use one of these? How good is the finish after grinding, is it comparable to blanchard grinding?

They are built in Jackson, Michigan. My home town. Don't know much about them, but here is their web site.

I have used Swisher rotary grinder for at least 10 years. Great machine. The table does rotate and the head swings to the side only for part removal.

I have a fairly small grinder but we hold +-.0001 after all these years with no trouble.
