I (and possibly others) would like to see some plans for a home made T & C grinder, please not Quorn. I have seen the plans by Harold Hall in the " Workshop Practice Series" but it is way too small and light in my opinion and I don't like the ball method for getting the compound angles. I have started to make a T & C grinder but have no plans and am just figuring things out as I go. Seeing some other plans would help to see how to plan the remaining steps or maybe change what I have done. Thanks, Jack. |

| You may wish to have a look at the design of The old Clarkson Mark One, this was a very simple machine with the all tricks in the attachments. Even when Clarkson International were making the Mark Four they were still using Mark 1s for all their cutter grinding including their diesinkers. Mind you, watching the cutter grinders (all on piecework), they did make it look easy. They were bl**dy fast as well. |
