    can anyone sharpen bandsaw blades?

I am looking for someone to sharpen my bandsaw blades. They are Bahco carbide insert 3 tpi 205" long. I'm not sure this is the right place to post but thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks.

I purchased an Oregon chain saw sharpener to sharpen the 2 TPI resaw blades for for a home made band mill. Just dress the wheel to the required profile, set it to the proper angles and go. A little time consuming and a $400 price tag but at $35 a blade, it works for me.
As for the carbide tooth, you could probably find a CBN wheel to fit. Though a bit pricy, it may be an option.

    bandsaw blades

I used to sharpen my bandsaw blades all the time.
i just used a pedastill grinder, a steady hand and some patience.
since you have carbide tips you need the right wheel.
since i'm in a grinding shop, i would just grab an old used wheel (with an angle for clearance from your hand and blade).
if you don't have an old wheel to use you can probably find a diamond
wheel from your local supplier. this wheel should cost you no more than 150$
and if your gentle with it, it will last for a long time.

Don't know where you're from, but there used to be a fellow by the name of Glover Morgan in Cleveland, GA that did bandsaw work. Let me know if you want me to dig up his number.

Try a diamond wheel for carbide.

    CBN wheel for HSS.

If you are going to try to grind by hand I suggest a 12V9 or 15V9 diamond wheel in a 100 - 180 grit. The tooth face is all that you need grind and these wheel shapes will fit into the gullet better. Also Crawford Saw and Tool Sharpening in Greer, SC may be able to help you.
