    need help sharpining a lathe bit

    i am pretty new to metal working, and dont exactly know how to shatpen a hss lathe blank,

    who can help me with this??

    Go to google or to www.youtube.com and search for videos by a guy called something like "tubalcain" or "Tubal Cain" - he has four short videos that will walk you through the process of designing and grinding HSS lathe cutting tools.

    Just remember not to use a wood 2x4 to make YOUR lathe bits.
