The boss bought a used Deckel, S 18 P 5 Axis sometime ago, [first one] and we had a Deckel Tech. to have one of our boys trained [one week] which was something like $4000 US Now this operator has left us, [just hasn't showed up anymore, we think it's drug related, eventually got fired] was not willing to teach someone else! This leaves us with a machine not running! So now the boss wants to find someone in the USA, or eslwhere, who has a machine like it and perhaps he could come to spend a week or so for training, or else someone would be willing to come to Edmonton and make a few $?, or even for fulltime employment! As I understand, Deckel Germany has no longer support for this machine over USA anymore, so it would be a higher expense, by someone coming from Germany and they are asking something like 7000.- Euro! Do you know of someone, who has a machine like this? thanks, Konrad |

| Hello Konrad, I'm Kyle. My father and I have our own tool grinding shop in Ohio. We also have a Deckel s18 CNC. I have been running it for about two years or so. I pretty much know everything about the machine. Well i should say the Endmill and drill programs. I would like to help you, but i have to run it by my dad as well. You do not want to go with Deckel cause they don't know anything. The best tech just went back to Germany. So if your still neededing some one maybe we can make this happen. Kyle |
