Does anybody have a trick to adjust the z height of the tool mid program? The only way I can get it to work is to reset the file, which doesnt work very well wth a toolchange file. |

While running a Techno machine an offset can be created on any axis. Pause the machine, Double click on the axis you want to change ( x,Y,Z, etc) Type in a positive number to offset the cutter to cut higher, and a negative number to cut deeper. IE: I would type in -.1 to add that much depth to the cut. Be carefull because the axis will do what you tell it to. I forgot the point symbol once, and it indeed added 1 inch to the depth of the cut. It was dramatic!!! |
