Ask your sales engineer for a copy of the "machine maintenance manual" pdf. I have a very old copy and it covers lubrication. The old suggestion was 8-10 hours on the rails in dusty woodworking environments or 100-150hrs non-dusty with the Tellus Oil. Ball screws was 20-40 dusty to 300-700 clean with the Alvania grease. Wipe off the old stuff first. These instructions are for the older style double rail machines not the newer LC's with the THK slides etc which is maybe why you have 4 lubes and I only got 2.

I'd like that document as well. I know just the feature to add to my software to insure proper maintenence.

"Hello. This is the router hardware. like your now ex because you've been too busy playing with me, I need attention and it's been like what... a week and no lovin? Lube me baby!" Yes, that's going to be a fun update.

    lubrication of x axis

I have the LC4896. The rails in the gantry for the x axis are hard to reach. The manual calls for an "acid brush" to be bent and put in over top of the ball screw.

Is there a spray lubricant that could be used for this, making it easier? I have heard of lubricants that don't attract dust in certain industrial applications...

What is an "acid brush" - is it one of those ones made of twisted wire?

An acid brush is one of those cheap disposable rolled sheet metal things with the poly bristles. Used to apply acid flux for plumbing, glue etc.
