Retrofitting Porter Cable with a Taper?

I have a LC 4896 with a Porter Cable 7518 router and am looking for a way to retrofit my router with a quick change tool option like a taper 40. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Zach

I should also add that my router broke so replacing it with a completely new spindle may be an option if there is one that is affordable. Any under $1,000?
